ParticipantLooks like you are trying to close a position that has already been closed. Remove EA from chart. Close MetaTrader and reload. Add EA back to chart. This should give you a fresh restart.

ParticipantWhat size is your account and lot size?
Alan Northam
ParticipantThe following is the results of my testing the FTMO robot on an FTMO 15 day free demo account from August 16, 2023 through August 29, 2023. Account size $10,000. Lot size was 0.3 and 0.3 the recommended lot size for this account size. The profit was 1.2% with a drawdown of 1.9%. If I combine the two test for August the results would show a profit of 3.78%. If future testing shows the same rate of profit each month it would take 2.5 months to reach the target profit of 10% to pass the challenge.
I will now start another 15 day demo and continue to test the FTMO EA.

ParticipantJust for comparison between using Waka Waka and EAs created by EA Studio here is my results over this last month:

ParticipantI back-test the FTMO Robot on an FTMO Demo account. My results from Aug 1, 2023 through Aug 15, 2023 shows the robot took approximately one trade per day. My back-test from Aug 16, 2023 through Aug 29, 2023 shows the robot approximately one trade every other day. Here is a link to my back-testing:

ParticipantYou are not setting up the back test correctly. Here is what I get on MT4 from May 1, 2023 to Aug 28, 2023.
Alan Northam
ParticipantYou should be getting more trades than that.
Be sure before you install the EAs on the charts you clicked on the AutoTrading button in the Tool bar. Be sure you are installing the H1 EAs attached to H1 charts and do not change time frames, M30 EAs attached to M30 charts and do hot change time frames, and M15 EAs attached to M15 charts and do not change the chart time frames. Further, be sure that you keep MetaTrader open 24 hours per day during the trading week.

ParticipantI think the problem is that you need to update to version v23.8.16. To do this open up EA Stidop and click shift + F5.
Alan Northam
ParticipantYes, you will be good to go!

100K Account: Amount for new position = 3.0 / Maximum position amount = 3.0
50K Account: Amount for new position = 1.5 / Maximum position amount = 1.5
25K Account: Amount for new position = 0.75 / Maximum position amount = 0.75
10K Account: Amount for new position = 0.30 / Maximum position amount = 0.30If you have more questions please post them and they will be answered asap!

ParticipantI am testing the EA in an FTMO demo account.

ParticipantYes!

ParticipantIf you are using MT4 then you need to use EURUSD M1 FTMO Filter M30.mq4.
If you are using MT5 then you need to use EURUSD M1 FTMO Filter M30.mq5 (EURUSD M1 FTMO Filter M30).
Alan Northam
ParticipantWith MT5 you need to go to the Editor. Then you need to click on the robot so you can see the source code. Then you need to click on the Compile button in the tool bar. You should now see the robot in the Navigator view.

ParticipantThe following is from a demo account on trading.com using the MT5 Strategy Tester. I can’t use the FTMO demo account right now because I have a 10K demo account with FTMO currently running using MT4. The first chart shows the dates when trades were taken. Notice that it does not take trades every day. The last trade was taken on 8/16. The second chart shows the profit so far this month. The account started the month of August with $200,000. Chart shows profit of $6771.06 so far for the month.
I would expect the FTMO robot to take another trade within the next day or two. Patience!
I would suggest you do a similar backtest to make sure everything is working correctly. The following are the settings I used: -
