I can’t say about the top 5 but the Top 3 Has been working for me, however last few weeks have been flat-ish (See Image) Hovering between 12,652 – 13,185

 

But this seems to be more to do with the market Phase as My other EA’s are underperforming too.

The issue you will have that the EA’s don’t cater for is you also cannot hit TP or SL during those 2 Minutes before and after.

The Experts wont place trades 2 minutes before or after but if you have a trade running and hits TP during a news spike if will be a breach.

This will remove the EA a set time before the news and re-apply it after. But what’s more it will remove the SL and TP during that news period and pop them back after. If the price has shot passed TP then it will bank the extra, but the downside is if it flies past your SL you have a bigger loss.

So it does have another option to just close all trades before the news whether in Profit or Loss.

Some props have no news trading rule but still allow set TP and SL to activate (CK Capital are one – New Firm)

Little Update, After hitting 10% I have kept the process going.

It has had a bit of a flat spot and back to 10% gain but main thing for me is Daily DD not been touched and the balance has recovered. Lets see what the next week hold… roll on 20%

I don’t turn them off and on, I just look at the app each morning and see what are the top three on the 1 Week setting.

I just make sure each day I have those top 3 running

So Far so good, this is the best attempt I have had to date. Up 5.8% using 1% Risk and setting the Top 3 Weekly EA’s every morning. BTC took a chunk but paid it back the next day. Only Issue I have is the contract sizing on XAG, I needed to up the lots by a factor of 10 on RoboForex

Thanks Nikos! I like to have a structure to work to. By doing it this way it fits nicely to my trading routine. Will see how the demo goes next few weeks

@Nikos I think what would be beneficial to all is setting a daily routine and checklist for us if possible?

For example:

1. Do you check the top 3 each morning, evening etc
2. Do you close positions for weekends?
3. If an EA has dropped off the top 3 but has an open position do you leave it or close it?
4. Are there any conditions that require manual intervention such as closing all for NFP/CPI/FOMC?

Hi All,

Is there a way to download all the V6.1 on their own?

At the moment is have to flick through Daily, Weekly and Monthly to make sure I have them all and download separately.

What I’d like it a button to download all V6.1 or V6.0 not matter what the performance.

I want to run them all at 0.01 Lot on a challenge and do my own top performer analysis. Using the App does not seem to work for me choosing the weekly Top 1 or 3 so must be a broker difference or backtest vs live difference

I had this worry but realised the “Top 10” robots is a totally separate thing to the Prop Firm robots

Yes I have found changing max trades to 1 rather than 4 is far greater.

Just to clarify, did you check the top weekly performers every day? and adjust the loaded Robots based on this?

I think I can see one difference between their live trades vs what the set file gives and that is only 1 trade at a time.

I have done some back tests using the set file but turning the max trades from 0 (Unlimited) to 1. It is far better and is closer to the live performance.
