    Dear Traders,

I have uploaded the EAs for Sept 2022.

You can find them attached as resource files for the courses (in the same lectures).

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers,

    Petko A

Note: Always test the EAs on a Demo account.

    Hey Tanya,

    Glad to hear from you.

May I ask a few questions before giving you some tips?

    1. Do you use the same broker for both accounts, and which is the broker?

    2. What rules do you follow to move EAs from the Demo to the mock live, and what rules you follow to remove the EAs from the mock live?

    3. How did you choose these pairs GBJPY, AUDCAD, EURGBP, USDCHF?

    Cheers,

    Petko A.

PS I do not mind the EURGBP but all the rest. :)

    Hello traders,

The stock market has been quite volatile recently, and also some of the stocks did the so-called SPLIT.

So I have updated the 5 EAs that I personally use, and I updated the course.

More, you will find the changes in the strategies in the PDFs attached.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Dear traders,

The markets are pretty volatile, and we need to be flexible with the tools we use.

I created 10 new EAs for Dow Jones and uploaded them to the course.

Please, test first on a Demo account.

I guess Samuel explained it really well because his English is quite better than mine. But just making sure you got my point.:)

    Hey Steve,

Yes, that is right, but when generating with 100k bars and then recalculating with 200k bars, you are doing the OOS in the opposite direction.

I am generating the strategies with the most recent data and then checking if they would work in the previous 100k bars.

I don’t say it is the better way to go, but just another way to check the robustness.

EA Studio is pretty fast on any machine, in my opinion.

However, you can try on a VPS, just install chrome there and run.

But personally, I think VPS is worthy for MT and algo trading, and EA Studio you can run on your machine.

    Hey traders,

I have updated the EAs for August 2022!

You can find the new EAs in the same lectures (attached as resource files).

For the Top 5 Forex EAs: GBPUSD was slightly changed.

For the Top 5 Crypto EAs – no changes

Always test the strategies on a Demo first.

    Kind regards,

    Petko A

    Hey Alan,

Glad to have you on board! Yes, you can always upgrade.

It would be best if you run the generator/reactor in a separate browser. It would work faster.

    Hey Steve,

I appreciate you sharing your experience in the Forum. I am glad to hear that the 1:1 session was useful as well.

    So here is my feedback:

    1. I would add the reverse option because it is just logical if there is an opposite signal for the current trade to be closed and a new one to be opened (in the opposite direction).

    2. I can’t really say about the 40-40 SL and TP because I always leave it on the reactor but give it a try…

    3. I am not a fan of Full Data Optimization. Normalizer is alright…check a video I recorded about it:

    4. For Robustness I would use just the Monte Carl. For me, that is enough. With randomize Indicator parameters.

If you remember in the call I shared with you that I run the Reactor using 100k bars and then I recalculate the collection with the 200k bars so I see which strategies are performing well in the ”unknown” data. That is a trick that guarantees you are using unknown data, which is a great robustness test.

Let me know if I was useful or if I missed something.

    Cheers,

    Hey traders,

Here is the second video from Samuel:

Hope you will learn a lot from it!

    Hey guys,

I just had a look at this topic and will try to help you out.

Now, if you see the error message it does not mean it will not find strategies. It is just a warning that for 2 min the reactor did not find anything but if you leave it running, you might see results.

I am just running the monthly updates and for GBPUSD M15 I keep it to 300 мин trades and 1.2 Profit Factor.

More, you can try lowering the number of bars to 100000 so the reactor will work faster.

And by the way GBPUSD is a hard one to find a lot of strategies :)

We will make sure to check all links and see where the issue is.

    Thanks for reporting!
