Hello Jordy,
Unfortunately this is the path that most people find algorithmic trading. I had a similar start in trading.
And years back the algo trading was much harder, because I needed to hire developers to code the strategies…a lot of money and time.
Now with the EA Studio and FSB Pro is really easier, and I guess only the people who know the algo trading before that can really appreciate it.
Glad to see that you share your results.
Hey Andi, I think your data is a bit too much. With so many bars you will get Moreno robust strategies but their daily results will be not that satisfying. The more data you have, the more you limit the average profit per day.
The only think you can test is if your demo account matches with the journal.

That is awesome. I enrolled to the course but left if for a bit later. I took the Pack with the courses and the strategy builders so I will focus on learning EA Studio and FSB Pro first.
But seeing your results will force me look into the course and start testing the EAs. Once I H we results for sure I will place them over here. You have opened great topic!

can you please send this EA to the mail, so we can have a look at it. It is hard to say this way from just one picture.
That video is what I was looking for. The FSB Pro is bit harder for me but I prefer to use it more than EA Studio. I took the Pack last month and every day I spend like 2-3 hour but for sure it will take me longer to master it all.

I have tried that and it worked well for me. I did it for the NY trading session with the USDCAD and with the EURUSD.
Petko, thank you very much for the course!At the beginning I did not believe that there are actually such Portfolio EAs, and that you included 100 strategies for this price. After taking the course last month I was more surprised to see that you update the Trading portfolios every month…
Last month I ended by removing many strategies, but had a positive month with total of 600 pips, is that a good result for this system?
Also, is it a good idea to increase the lots for the remaining EAs? Something like to increase with 0.01 with every removed strategy?
I would be happy to have your opinion about that, and thanks again

Keep in mind that these are the major settings for the EA Studio. So it will affect all EAs that you are exporting.
So you you have marked the boxes before generating the EAs right? Also, you kept the same settings while exporting the EAs?
Also, do you see in the journal of the EAs in EA studio that the trades are out at the close of the trading session?
From what I see, your trades must close at 16:30 from Monday to Thursday and on Friday trading session they should be closed at 13:15. May be you are missing something else.

I just took the Trading portfolio Expert Advisors course and its great! When you released the 99 EAs course I taught that is it. No more improvement in algo trading. Now you showed the Trading Portfolio Expert Advisors which opens great perspective to us.Thanks again for all the knowledge you share. I am right testing the Trading Portfolio Expert Advisors.
That is good information to know, I missed it in the courses. So I would be trading one strategy on different pairs but with different parameters. Makes so much sense. Thanks Petko
The prices that EA Forex Academy takes for the courses are really unbelievable and I see that have over 12 000 students and I think that is still a small number of people who actually realize the value of the trading courses that Petko and his team brings.
I have spend couple of thousands of dollars for education, mentoring and courses. All were useless, I coudnt get a single month on Profit.
Now with the EAs from Petko and the methods in his courses, I am on third month of profiting.
So I would strongly recommend to anyone who hesitate to grab a course for 9.99!

I succeeded to download some data from the broker, but still not sure if I can use it.But for the moment, the easiest thing you can do is leave Meta Trader opened, and it collects the new Histroical data. Sometimes I download the hst files, to make sure I wont lose them.
When I create strategies, I just drop the scripts over the charts.

Interesting topic about the FSB here. I actually succeeded to download some historical data from my broker, they have it on their website. And on M1 I have more than 650k bars. I am not sure if so many bars would be good idea?3
Also, how can I be sure that this Historical data is from the server I am using for the broker?
