KeymasterHey Samuel,
That is an intelligent question with a complicated answer! :)
Yep, you are right. The more assets you trade, the lower drawdown you will achieve.
But I really can’t say something super smart about it as a solution. It depends on so many different things. Especially when there is a war going on and the markets are unpredictable.
One of the solutions to lower the drawdown is to decrease the trading size of the EAs. Of course, this way, you will reduce your chances of profits, but I guess it depends on how risky the type of trader you are.

KeymasterHey mate,
Sorry, I missed our post…just saw it now when I was looking for something.
Glad you found my system of Taking Profit useful. Sometimes it is hard to time the market, but if you do a few times, it is so easy to double your money.
How are you doing now in 2022?

KeymasterThe FSB Pro has some custom indicators but those should be with C++.
However, we expect an update from Forex Software to be able to export the strategies to Trading View. But not sure when this will happen. :)

KeymasterGuys, wake up here! Share your strategies and EAs :)
Petko Aleksandrov
KeymasterThat is a hard one, Simon.
You need always to have 2-3 accounts with a few brokers so you can compare them.
This way you can see easier if one of them is cheating you.

KeymasterHey guys,
Something new and exciting for me. I just finished the first Metaverse course that will be for the Crypto games that are built on a blockchain.
The course will be live soon and for the forum participants, the price will be discounted.

KeymasterMany have asked about it, but I feel I will be promoting their company which is something I want to avoid.
Anyway, will see if more people will ask for it.

KeymasterPlus, you can a rule Long Only which I doubt I showed in the video. Not for Forex. :)

KeymasterHey Stefanos,
I always trade the EAs first on a Demo and this way I select the ones for my live account. But this is how I do it, and I showed it in most of the courses in the Academy.
You can test and play around to see which way you will feel comfortable.

KeymasterHey Jaroslav,
Let me know the results if you compare the demo and the live trading, do the trade match?

KeymasterGuys, I know you all aim at huge profits, but keep in mind that when there are unpredictable market conditions (Russian-Ukrainian war) we can see the EAs losing money. They are created on a backtest of Historical data that is with a normal supply and demand behavior.

KeymasterI wanted to ask the community if it is happy with the free course on EA Studio? I am planning to record a new one, but I would be happy to know what is missing in the current course.
Thanks!
Petko Aleksandrov
KeymasterGuys, in this topic it is appropriate to say that EA Studio has now Premium data with many Cryptos, Stocks, and Indices.
I am working on widening my portfolio with EAs from many different assets.

KeymasterHey Jaroslav,
Glad to hear from you, and welcome to the Forum.
1. You need to check if your broker offers the same trading conditions on Live and Demo. The first thing I do with a new broker is to put a few EAs with 0.01 and see if the trades match. If they do not…change the broker. I personally stopped using Admiral many years ago because of their high spreads. But that is a personal choice.
2. Do not hurry with a live account. Use a second Demo account until you find yourself comfortable with analyzing and moving the EAs from Demo to Live (second Demo).
3. Honestly, you hit one of the worst periods for Forex trading during the volatile markets (dues to Russia – Ukraine war). In times like these, I pause the trading. Why? Because the market moves not because of a normal supply and demand thing but because of news and speculations.
And the EAs are generated based on a backtest that was not during such market conditions.
Petko Aleksandrov
KeymasterHello Jaroslav,
Can you make it clearer what you are doing?
Do you test the EAs on a Demo account and when you move to live they start losing?
Did you test your live and demo if they match the trading in the first place? The best way to test your broker is to place 2-3 EA with 0.01 on a Demo and Live and see if the trades will match. If they do not. testing on a Demo account becomes useless.
