    Hey Amanda,

The best thing would be for you to perform a backtest on MetaTrader and see how the strategies behave with your broker.

The different brokers show different results and it is best to do it by yourself.

In the course, you will see how that works and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

    Kind regards,

    Hey Boback,

You do not need to update the code. Just from the inputs of the EA, when you drop it on the chart, leave it to 0.0 on the line how much to add as lots.

    Hey traders,

We have just updated 3 out of the 5 Stock EAs.

Small changes on GOOG, TSLA, AAPL were done. FB and AMZN keep doing a great job with the initial parameters.

You can find the new EAs attached the the same lecture, and the changes you can find in the PDFs accordingly.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Kind regards,

    Hey Boback,

Yes, I am afraid that you will have to remove the adding option so you can fit the FIFO rule…

    Hey Steve,

You are doing a great job! I have been through all of that…I tested 1000s of EA on dozens of accounts. But the more I was adding, the more complicated it was.

So to make it simple, I started using the Validator in EA Studio and recalculating strategies over the new Historical data. This way, I do simulated Demo trading.

Not sure if you watched some of the videos where I explain it. For example, in the Last Month Top EAs course, I described it in lecture 6.3.

Regarding the live account, I try to keep it the very same as with the Demo. You said that you would consider an EA as a losing one if you ” it can never have more than X negative profit days in a row”. So why not follow the same in live? This way you will have the very same thing on Demo and Live.

If you make it stricter on live, you will miss some decent EAs performing well on your Demo, but you limit them more on the live…

    Hey Ricardo,

For the moment that data is not available. I use Darwinex broker to get Historical data for stocks.

    Hey mate,

In the top menu, when you click on Packages, the last one is Trading Robots:

    Hi David,

The best thing would be to try them both simultaneously so you will see which one works best.

Just put 10 same EAs on 2 different Demo account, and apply the other EA in one of the accounts.

I can’t say which is better because I haven’t tested your option, and it’s hard to predict the outcome as it’s not possible to perform a backtest on the 10 EAs and the AP EA.

Let us know the results if you do the test.

    Cheers.

    Hey David,

Glad to hear from you. Actually, you can modify the Formula as you wish. The most important is to keep the ratio 1:3 (mid-zone:Take Profit).

I personally keep using the same levels as far as some of the brokers that I use have the spread below the $20. If it’s higher I do not use the formula.

    Hope that helps.

    Hey traders,

I hope everyone has a great week!

I just uploaded the new EAs for July.

Make sure to test all the EAs first on a Demo account.

    Kind regards,

    Hey Rehman,

Glad to hear from you. Honestly, I do not know which brokers have issues with Pakistan and for what reason.

Did you try all the brokers we have in the trusted brokers page?

in reply to: Updates in the courses #92561

    Hey Boback,

Glad to hear from you, and welcome to the Academy.

Yes, in US the brokers apply the FIFO rule.

If you trade one EA that opens one trade per signal, on one asset, you will not have issues.

If you wish to trade more EAs in the same account, you can check out the FAQ section for some tips.

    Hello crypto investors,

Bitcoin has been quite negative, but that is the market. It never goes in one direction.

The question now: Did the Bitcoin form a new Bottom yesterday?

I have recorded a whole video about it. And you can find it at the end of the Bitcoin investment course.

I hope you will find it useful.

    Kind regards,

    Petko A

P.S. I updated the course with a lecture, where I shared 3 strategies for the Crypto bear market. Just in case you have missed it…

    Hey traders,

I have updated the 10 USDJPY EAs.

The robots are the same. Just some of the parameters were changed.

All you need to download the new ones, reupload them and start testing them.

Let me know if you have questions.

    Kind regards,

    Petko A
