Dear all,
I have updated the Bitcoin Robot course.
Hard times for the Bitcoin market, but when we have the Robot and the Formula, it really doesn’t matter if the price drops or not.
I made some changes to the robot to be more relevant to the current market conditions.
The TP was not changed, just some of the parameters in the indicators.
You can find it attached in the same lecture.

You cannot really modify the EAs “by hand”, but what you can do is to optimize the EAs.
You can do it in MetaTrader or in EA Studio:
Go to EA Studio – Help – Strategy – Optimizer.
There is a video and there is a detailed explanation on how to do it.
Now, be careful, not over-optimizing your strategy (making it too perfect).
Yes, when you use TP you are limiting the potential of the trade but at the same time, you are securing some profits. Both have PROs and CONs.

What you described with the EAs happens quite often. The question is the EAs to perform profitably in the long term. There will be times when the profits will be wiped, and there will be times when the position goes on a loss but finally it closes on a profit.
That is why we have the backtest with the EAs so we can see an average performance. Did you perform backtest with your broker?

Yes, you should make the symbol settings exactly the same way you see it with your broker.
The commission depends on the brokers. Some charge one time, others twice.
Can you upload some screenshots about the lots. Where do you see the change, in MetaTrader or in the EA Studio backtest?

I am glad to hear that you like my system.
Regarding the data what you can do is to use the premium data on EA Studio just change the parameters of the symbols so it will work for your US brokers.

When you run the Reactor on different browsers you will be building different collections. Just download them so you won’t lose any strategies.
Regarding the descended strategies I guess you have the correlation analysis turned on in the tools which is just fine.

Glad to hear from you. Sorry for the late reply but I guess you did the best thing – found it by yourself.
True, the data is important but do not focus all your energy on it. Most important is to create robust EAs that would work on most regulated brokers.
And least this is what I focus on and this is because I include EAs in the courses as well.
We are changing the design of the website (probably you have noticed) and many bugs were fixed. Let me know if you are capable of uploading pictures to the Forum now.

Actually, the 65 000 limitation comes from MetaTrader and not from EA Studio.
In most of my algo trading courses, I explain how to solve it but I have some youtube videos as well:

I usually keep trading with the EAs all the time so I do not limit the timezone.
However, if you wish to trade the London and the NY that is fine. You need to calculate what time it is according to your broker.
You can see the timezone of your broker on the market watch on MetaTrader.
Then enter the opening of London as an entry hour and the exit hour should be the closing of NY, in your case.
