Yes, the percentage depends a lot on how much of your trading account you will be using.
For example, if you start with 3k account and you trade 10 EAs each 0.1 is one thing, and 3k account with 10 EAs 0.5 lot is a different thing (just example).
In the second option you can gain much more with the same EAs but at the same time, you have a bigger risk.
I can not suggest you starting amount or risk, that is up to you.
If you want me to give you some tips let me know the following:
1. How much you CAN start with?
2. What risk you are willing to take?
3. Which EAs did you trade and what rules you followed to move them to separate account?

Glad to hear from you.
On MetaTrader you can open 99 charts maximum, which means 99 individual EAs.
You can go for a bigger number with the Portfolio EAs. With those, you can place many strategies on one chart.
Regards the VPS, nothing really special is needed.

I think Mark gave you an excellent answer.
It is a personal choice how you want to manage the EAs after testing them. Make sure to keep it simple and not start with 100s of EAs that will make you confused.
If you have all the Robots, then just for the Top 10 as a beginning, and then you will feel the moment when you can manage more than that.
But always keep it simple.

Exactly! Especially with the EAs, it is very hard when the brokers increase the spread, and unfortunatelly we can not do anything about it.

Hello CuriousGeo,
What you close the terminal (MetaTrader) and reopen it again you are disabling the EAs and they will stop trading.
When you use a VPS you should close the window of the VPS (usually that is a remote control window) but you should not close the MetaTrader itself. This way the EAs will not stop trading.
Why the charts disappeared….I can’t say that. But make sure not to close the MetaTrader.
