Hi richard, what default Acceptance Criteria’s do you use to get that huge amount of strats per week? How many bars do you use? Do you use the Generator or the Reactor? Many thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I have now for a few hours run four sessions of Reactor on each their virtual desktop. I use the Opera browser and they all run continuously in parallel. The browser has version no. 72.0.3815.378. If Opera also gets into the same problems as Edge and Chrome in the future, I can see that at http://www.opera.com/download and at the very bottom of the page there is an archived with former versions of Opera, so it should be possible to find one previous version which hopefully can run multiple Reactor’s at the same time.

Hi Richard,

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and ideas, it is very useful and helpful, as well as very inspiring. When you start the reactor to generate EA’s and first stop after maybe 300 or 2000 EA’s, do you then also use robustness testing eg Monte Carlo, and how long are you about to generate eg 1000 EA’s ?

I started a live account mid February 2020 with € 3,000. Mid March my balance was 2,070, but today it is 5,499. I have in total had 75 EA’s on my account over time and for the moment I have 12 EA’s on the account. I follow my accounts with FX Blue.

You wrote that you avoid drawndown bigger than 10% and remove EA’s from live accounts with drawndowns of 10%. How do you calculate drawndown from a single EA on the live account?

When I go to “Settings” and choose 200000 bars, then when I go to “Acquisition” and press “Load data” I only get 50000 bars. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, When I leave the MT4 open/online for collecting data from my broker, do I then need to have the wanted symbols open on a chart and also all time frames? Or will there be collected data for all symbols in the Market Watch vindow?
